No. iAM Medical is included with iAM Compliant Advanced at no extra cost. It isn’t sold as a standalone product or separate bolt-on.

What do we need to use iAM Medical

Your school or trust needs an active iAM Compliant Advanced subscription, an active connection between your Management Information System (MIS) and Wonde, and the Incidents feature enabled within iAM Compliant. This connection ensures demographic data and pupil records remain up to date.

How does iAM Medical handle sensitive health data under UK GDPR?

Medical information is classed as special category personal data under UK GDPR. Role-based permissions ensure that only authorised staff can view or update medical records and long-term medication.

Can we record acute, temporary injuries as well as long-term conditions?

Yes. You can record ongoing conditions such as asthma, epilepsy and diabetes, as well as temporary health needs such as fractures, dressings or a short course of prescribed antibiotics. You can update flexible end dates as a pupil recovers.
